Tips on Dealing with a Frozen Shoulder 1. A hot shower before bed may help with stiffness and pain 2. Massage your shoulder twice a day, morning and night 3. Apply ice packs to the affected area for 15 minutes at a time 4. Get plenty of rest by getting at least 7 hours of sleep each night 5. Do not use any heavy objects or do any strenuous activities that could worsen your injury 6. Take breaks from any activity that requires gripping with your hands 7.
