What to Eat Before Exercising It depends what you want. Are you looking for a quick energy boost? A carb-filled snack can be used for this purpose, but it's not good for your stomach because you'll feel weighed down and bloated after the workout. What about water? You might also want to bring a water bottle with you or drink water beforehand to stay hydrated while working out. If you're looking for something healthy then eat a piece of fruit like an apple or banana. These will give your body fuel through the workout based on what type of exercise you're going to do. If you're going for a longer and harder workout then you want to get your blood pumping by eating some animal proteins like meat, cheese or nuts. Tips on Dealing with a Frozen Shoulder 1. A hot shower before bed may help with stiffness and pain 2. Massage your shoulder twice a day, morning and night 3. Apply ice packs to the affected area for 15 minutes at a time 4. Get plenty of rest by getting at least 7 hours of sleep each night 5. Do not use any heavy objects or do any strenuous activities that could worsen your injury 6. Take breaks from any activity that requires gripping with your hands 7.
